Research Motor preparation/motor learning
Year: 2006
During both my Masters and PhD degrees, my main area of research involved the examination of motor learning and skill acquisition. While my Masters degree focused on what conditions of practice and feedback
maximize learning, my PhD examined how adults learn new movements by studying changes to brain and muscle patterns during physical practice, observation and imagery.
Dana is currently a post-doctoral research fellow in the Lab. of Dr Ian Franks. He is also a faculty member in Kinesiology at Langara College.
