Visual-motor experience and motor imagery in hand gestures

This is a motor learning study where we are studying how the motor imagery processes are impacted by different types of experience seeing and performing novel hand gestures. In this study, you will watch and/or imagine or physically practice hand gesture sequences in a pair (ethics, H22-01308). We are looking for right-handed individuals with no experience with American Sign Language and able to perform full body movements. The study takes place on one day with an approximate time commitment of 1 hr ($15.65/hr).
Please send us an email if you're interested (preferably a UBC email), with a phone number and we will send you a consent form with more information.
Please put IMAGERY, Carrie, in the subject line of the email.
THANKS
