Unique subgroups
Aphantasia is the absence of visual imagery. We have started to do work with people who report the inability to visually imagine, with a particular interest in what this might mean for motor imagery, motor planning and other simulation-type activities that engage similar processes.
Down Syndrome: We have also worked with people with Down Syndrome to study motor control and we are planning research to look at motor learning in this population.
Stroke and rehabilitation: We have also teamed with people at UBC (in Rehabilitation Sciences and Engineering) to study people post-stroke.
