Embodiment and Motor Imagery

Participants are needed for a UBC study to investigate how we read and understand sentences. Participants will be asked to make judgements about sentences and pictures by clicking responses using their mouse. This study is being run by the Motor Skills Lab in the School of Kinesiology by principal investigator Dr. Nicola Hodges.
It is anticipated that this study will take approximately 45 minutes to complete. It is fully online, requiring only a computer (laptop or desktop) with a device to play audio (headphones or speakers). A mouse is also highly recommended, although a track pad will still work.
Criteria for participation: 1) Over the age of 18, 2) Normal or corrected-to-normal vision and colour vision, 3) No existing injuries that would prevent being able to do mouse movements, 4) No known neurological disorder, 5) Good understanding of English (to follow both written & verbal instructions).
