Carrie Peters wins Killam Teaching award
Congratulations Carrie... this is a really significant award at the University level.
This was the small paragraph helping to illustrate Carrie's accomplishments
"Carrie Peters has clearly demonstrated a passion and excellence for teaching and mentoring. She has helped to supervise many undergraduate and graduate students in a research capacity showing both excellent teaching skills and a high degree of willingness to share knowledge and skills. She recently taught KIN 206, statistics (3 times a week at 8am!), and she has been an active and highly valued TA for the past 4 years in KIN 211, Motor Behaviour. Carrie’s teaching ability has been informed by her participation and leadership in many events related to teaching in the School, at the faculty level and in the University; including being the TA training coordinator, the TA union representative and a significant lead on the graduate student teacher training pathway."
